Kimia gave a talk titled “Reaction Coordinates for heterogeneous Ice Nucleation.” Fernanda presented a poster in the student poster session.

Her presentation was titled “Investigation of protein folding and stability via enhanced sampling techniques .”

Her thesis presentation was titled “Unpacking Crystal Nucleation: CNT on Non-Uniform Surfaces and the Role of Interatomic Potentials.”

His presentation was titled “Development of FFS software for investigation of biological rare events.”

Amir, Betul, Omar and Kimia all gave talks in the CoMSEF area.

Omar was GRS Chair, Amir led a discussion on Confined Liquids and senior members of the group presented posters. 

Using both experiments and computation, she will research the structure-mechanical property relationship of mixed matrix membranes for carbon capture.

His 3 minute presentation was titled “The Journey of an Ion Through a Nanopore”. Congratulations Omar!

Former and current members of the group celebrated Amir’s promotion to Associate Professor (with tenure) at a local Turkish restaurant in West Haven.
