About
Calista is a senior at Yale College majoring in Chemical Engineering. Previously, she did research with Prof. William Jorgensen on COVID-19 drug discovery. She’s been involved with Yale Chem-E-Car for two seasons. She currently works as an Academic Strategies and STEM Navigators Peer Mentor at the Poorvu Center for Teaching & Learning and has previously been a peer mentor for the STARS program as well as the peer tutor for organic chemistry. Calista is originally from Estonia. Outside of STEM, her interests lie in Eastern European politics and international relations. At Yale, she is also learning her fourth language, Kiswahili.
