About

Arlind is a Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering track of the CEE Department. Concurrently he is also a fellow in the Integrated Graduate Program in Physical & Engineering Biology (PEB). He graduated summa cum laude with a B.E. in Chemical Engineering and double minors in Chemistry and Mathematics from the City College of New York in 2021. There he studied the structure and dynamics of fungal melanins using solid-state NMR spectroscopy in Prof. Ruth Stark’s Lab. At Yale, his current research interests focus on protein aggregation, statistical mechanics and liquid phase transitions. Outside the lab, Arlind enjoys cooking and trying moderately spicy foods in good company.
